Heute wird Fußball gespielt. Ein kleines Endspiel. Für schnelles Kurzpassspiel am Stammtisch steht man mit diesem Buch nicht im Abseits. Ein Steilpass in die Tiefe des Raumes zweier Fußballnationen, die eine oftmals als vom Glück verwöhnte Turniermanschaft gehasst, die andere spätestens seit ihrem historischen Auftritt gegen die Färör-Inseln bemitleidet.
