The Ting Tings and their night in Paris
by Andreas Boettcher & Jan Schimmang on April 30th, 2008

NME hype galore. But they are really great. The Ting Tings have an unique and catchy sound. Their album “We started nothing” will be released in a few weeks and features hit by hit. Well done acoustic performance of “That´s not my name” for MTV. And in the second video you will find Jules de Martino´s anecdote about their night in Paris.

Cut Copy recommends …
by Andreas Boettcher & Jan Schimmang on April 22nd, 2008

It was in 2004 when their debut “Bright like neon love” were blowing minds. Perfect pop. And now again: Cut Copy have a brilliant flow and the single “Lights & music” is just a teaser for the whole great new album released in march on Modular. It is spring now and “In ghost colours” is it´s soundtrack. This video shows which records the band really likes …
Weekend-Starters: Chromatics & Mark Seven
by Andreas Boettcher on April 16th, 2008

DONNERSTAG

Soundcheck!
Mark Seven in Berlin, am 18. April im Tape

Tim Sweeney
by Andreas Boettcher on April 9th, 2008

You hardly recognize him in this nice outfit. But it´s really Tim Sweeney, the guy from DFA. Every fine DJ was already spinning records in his show Beats In Space, which startet in 1999. This Thursday he is playing at Cookies in Berlin. So check the little video feature below, where Ramesh Srivastava, the singer of Voxtrot, does a little interview with him.
Fu** Nicole, not Richie!
by Andreas Boettcher & Jan Schimmang on April 7th, 2008
For girls this is the band of the season: The Teenagers. Here is a short video file, where Quentin Delafon and Dorian Dumont tell the truth about fucking Nicole and name the records, which changed their lives. Take a look at the vernissage as well.
